Waste Concern and UNESCAP in Association with UCLG ASPAC are Assisting Malang Regency, Indonesia to Establish an Integrated Resource Recovery Center (IRRC)

malangWaste Concern and UNESCAP in association with United Cities and Local Governments Asia-Pacific (UCLG ASPAC) is assisting Malang Regency, Indonesia to establish an IRRC having Anaerobic Digestion (AD) and Co-composting facility to treat and convert market waste and slaughter house waste into electricity and compost fertilizer.

This recycling facility will be able to treat 4 M3/day of slaughter house waste and 2 tons/day organic waste generated in the neighboring market. Generated electricity shall be used in the market.
