Description of work:

The project supported the preparation of action plans for 8 secondary towns with regards to solid waste management. Prepared solid waste management action plans and assessed alternative technical options for improvement of solid waste management value chain. Estimated the quantity of waste generated in each of the 8 secondary towns. Projected future need for waste management over a 10-year period, considering short- and medium-term investments required. Evaluated the opportunities for CDM in waste management in the 8 towns.
