Project Description
The position is available for an “Integrated Water Management in Urban Areas as a Core Task of Municipal Services of General Interest” project supported by an international development agency. The project’s duration is 36 months. The position is available for 03 (three) months starting from 01 May to 31 July 2024.

Junior Consultant
Job Responsibilities
The Junior Consultant is a temporary position to support preparing the Climate Resilient City Action Plan (CRCAP) for two towns namely, Kushtia Paurashava and Savar Paurashava. His/her specific duties and responsibilities will mainly cover: (a) the collection/extraction of climate change-related data from both primary sources (field visits and observation, stakeholder consultation, discussion and consultation with Paurashava staff and key informants, field survey by using survey tools and instruments, etc.) and secondary sources (published documents and websites of the government departments, non-government organizations, financial institutes, etc.), (b) support holding stakeholder consultation meetings, (c) processing and analysis of the collected/extracted data, (d) generation of respective analytical descriptions and explanations for CRCAP, and (e) any other relevant tasks as assigned by the project manager.
Requirements
At least B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Science/ Environmental Management/ any relevant discipline from any reputed university. Candidates with M.Sc. in the above-mentioned fields will be given priority. The candidate must have at least one year of relevant working experience in climate change and development-related projects supported by development partners.
