Description of work:

Under this project estimated  the amount of soiled PPW coming to landfill sites and   informal cleaning and recycling facilities located in landfill sites and older part of Dhaka city and its composition. Identification of the composition of different types of soiled PPW. Analyzed the existing process/value chain of soiled PPW.  Assessed existing formal/informal facilities dealing with soiled collection, cleaning, drying and processing being carried out in Kamrangir Char, Matuail Dumpsite area, Amin Bazar and Tongi area of Dhaka city
