Preparation of Drawings for Six Public Toilets in Munshiganj

1. Assignment
   Waste Concern intends to design six (6) public toilets at selected locations in Munshiganj Municipality under the project “Integrated Urban Water Management at the Centre of Municipal Public Services”. A Short-Term Draftsman will be engaged for two (2) months to support the Architect in preparing accurate and professional architectural drawings and construction details.
2. Objective
   To prepare complete, accurate and well-coordinated CAD drawings for the six public toilets based on the designs and instructions provided by the Architect and project technical team.
3. Scope of Services
   The Draftsman shall:

• Support the Architect in preparing drawings for all six public toilet sites;
• Prepare site plans, floor plans, elevations and sections;
• Prepare detailed toilet layouts, cubicle details, accessible toilet and ramp details;
• Prepare door/window, finishing and signage details as instructed;
• Incorporate dimensions, levels, annotations and technical notes;
• Prepare and update drawings based on Architect/Project Team comments;
• Ensure consistency and coordination among plans, elevations, sections and details;
• Maintain proper CAD layers, drawing numbering and revision records;
• Prepare drawings suitable for printing and construction use; and
• Submit all final drawings in editable CAD and PDF formats.

5. Preliminary CAD drawings for six public toilets;
6. Detailed architectural plans, elevations and sections;
7. Construction and architectural details;
8. Revised drawings incorporating comments;
9. Final coordinated CAD drawing package; and
10. Final PDF drawing package for all six public toilets.
11. Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma/Certificate in Architectural Drafting or equivalent;
• Minimum 10 years of relevant drafting experience;
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD;
• Experience in preparing architectural plans, elevations, sections and construction details;
• Knowledge of standard architectural drawing practices; and
• Experience in public/community buildings or WASH facilities will be an advantage.

6. Duration and Reporting
   The assignment will be for two (2) months between August to October 2026. The Draftsman will work under the direct supervision of the Architect and report to the Project Manager as required.
7. Level of Effort
   Short-term/part-time engagement, with availability according to the design and drawing preparation schedule.
